Brown Bag marketing worked with Alert Enterprise, a leader in cyber-physical security, to give their brand a new look and feel, complete with marketing strategies—like promotional videos and live event social coverage—that amplified brand awareness.

New logo & Visual Brand

Focused on the dual objectives of maintaining competitiveness within their industry while appealing to a more people-centric demographic, Brown Bag successfully crafted a new logo and brand refresh for Alert Enterprise. The design reflects a contemporary and sleek aesthetic, aligning with industry standards, while also introducing elements that enhance approachability and engagement. The color palette was expanded with an emphasis on purple, and includes a softer gradient that’s more visually appealing. Imagery was expanded to included both lifestyle and modern office views. Font was also updated to feel more contemporary and perform better in a digital space.

The result is a visually striking brand identity that not only positions Alert Enterprise as a contemporary player in their field but also establishes a connection with their evolving target personas, emphasizing a people-focused approach in their communication and branding strategy.

New Website

Alert Enterprise wanted to create a new website that’s as modern and intuitive as their SaaS solutions. To start, our team conducted a comprehensive content review of their current site. Then came the information architecture, with streamlined content based on multiple personas. From there, we created a new site map and wireframes before finally writing the content and designing a new user interface. The result: A sleek, modern website that’s quickly become the benchmark for their overall brand and marketing collateral.


Problem: As the largest converged security trade show in the United States, ISC West is a must-attend event for Alert Enterprise. But with their significant presence at the event and full schedule of activities, their team feared their marketing representatives wouldn’t have time to post on their social media channels to engage and drive awareness.

Solution: The Brown Bag social team was brought on weeks ahead of ISC West to put together a comprehensive live-event social media plan, complete with an in-depth posting schedule, evergreen content recommendations, hashtags and accounts to @mention along the way. The team flew out to Las Vegas for the event, capturing on-the-ground photos and videos of team members, partners, speaking sessions, booth interactions and company-sponsored events throughout the conference. Brown Bag developed content in real-time, posting an average of 14 times per day across Alert Enterprise’s LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, capping off each busy day with daily recap video content and a video recapping the event.

Result: In just 3 days, social content generated the impression volume typically garnered in a full month for Alert Enterprise. Video views by social users increased 20X, while branded content engagements were nearly 3X the social accounts monthly average!

The live content created huge visibility for our company with our partners and prospects, it allowed those not in attendance an opportunity to follow along in real time, and was the best performing social posts we’ve ever had.
