Time for a friendly pet-related PSA from your favorite marketing agency. Many of you know of our expertise in the animal health industry. Well, each August, the NPHIC (National Public Health Information Coalition) promotes and highlights the importance of vaccines in humans. What a lot of people don’t know, is that August is the National Immunization Awareness month for dogs and cats too.
We work with vet clinics across the country to remind their clients of the importance of these vaccines. We enable them to send out reminders, emails, provide content and messaging on their web-site, engage in social media and so-on. However, it’s not just the vet clinic that pet owners should rely on. Every pet owner should take a proactive approach to staying informed and up-to-date on what vaccines their pets are given and when they are due. Pets can’t speak to let their owners know they don’t feel well. If we all take a little time and effort to focus on vaccines each August, our four-legged friends across the country will be happier and healthier.
