The Empty Stocking Fund, one of Atlanta’s oldest non-profits, has announced its newly created Junior Board of Directors. Brown Bag is honored that Kelley Lyness and Nicole Baird have both been selected to serve on the Board in its founding year.
In addition to her role as Sr. Account Executive, leading the strategy behind The Empty Stocking Fund’s marketing for the past three years, Kelley also has raised funds for the non-profit on her own. Last year, she kicked off Pints for Presents where she partnered with Monday Night Garage to raise enough to support 83 kids!
Nicole, who has spent the past two years as the Project Manager for the non-profit, has lead the execution of countless campaigns aimed at raising funds and awareness for the organization. In addition, she has helped head our annual Christmas in July fundraiser that raises money through raffles and a silent auction.
The duo’s efforts, along with our creative team’s brilliance, were recognized in 2017 with an award for best non-profit marketing from the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG).
The Empty Stocking Fund’s mission is to empower parents and guardians of children living in poverty by providing them with the opportunity to give their children gifts at Christmas time. Brown Bag has been given the privilege to work with the non-profit since 2012 and has had countless opportunities to serve this heart-warming client through our strategy, creativity, employee generosity, and volunteer hours.
