Bag Love for LinkedIn + SlideShare

So I’m totally excited about the LinkedIn acquisition of SlideShare. I think that’s $120 million well spent.

Most of my colleagues here know I’m a big fan of both companies, and especially of how LinkedIn continues to grow as a B2B marketing platform. For brands trying to connect with decision-makers, working with an experienced LinkedIn ad agency in Atlanta can make all the difference.

SlideShare has always been an underutilized tactic for B2B social media programs, and this acquisition could open new doors for integration. Imagine being able to publish a SlideShare presentation directly into your LinkedIn campaign dashboard, a smart move for marketers and agencies alike.

So how do you think the partnership will play out? Do you think LinkedIn will go deep with the functional integration so you can seamlessly publish your presentations to your professional network? Do you think over time the contributed content will evolve on SlideShare to become singularly focused on business?

I’d love your thoughts!
